MEET OUR OAKLAND SUMMER CAMP TEAM

Glenn Howe, Camp Director

Glenn is a born-and-raised Oakland native, and knew he wanted to be an educator from early on. He earned his Bachelor's Degree and teaching credential from Humboldt State University, and has been discovering and exploring new, fun ways to work with kids in his hometown ever since. From sailing to Mexico to hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, from living in Alaska to going to clown school, adventure, creativity, performance, coaching and inspiration are his passion. During the school year he works at San Francisco Maritime National Park as a sailing instructor, youth boat builder, interpreter, living history performer and overnight field trip leader on the wide variety of historic boats. Galileo's fun-based innovation programming is a perfect fit for his energy and enthusiasm.

Whether you're designing your own video game or fashion line, becoming the next top chef or the next digital filmmaker, you're instantly a part of an amazing community of fun, like-minded individuals. And if that's not enough, we've got variety shows, waterball day and endless antics from staff and campers throughout the camp day. It's all here... we can't wait to see you!
