MEET OUR HILLSBOROUGH SUMMER CAMP TEAM
Meg Wells, Camp Director
While she never experienced summer camp programs growing up, Meg is making up for it now in her fourth year as Camp Director for Galileo Summer Quest. While earning her BA in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Meg spent her summers at a residential camp program in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, focusing on environmental education, learning every camp song she could get her hands on and lots and lots of tie dye. After working with that program year round after college, Meg moved to San Francisco and started working with Galileo Learning in January 2009 as a Phone Interviewer and Camp Director. She now fills the role of Selection Team Manager when not at camp and proudly heads Galileo Summer Quest Hillsborough in the summer months. Meg lives by the motto "work hard, play harder" and loves that Galileo allows her to live that every day.
A Note From Your Camp Director
Camp camp camp! It's all I can think about! I'm counting down the days 'til Capture the Rubber Chicken, amazing talents shows and of course, pirate vs. ninja day. The majors at camp this year rock, and I can hardly wait to see what you create. Lots of staff are returning, and my goodness, are they excited to meet you-- or welcome you back! Grab your friends a costume, and of course, your waterbottle, and meet me at GSQ! Summer 2012 here we come!
