Financial Assistance

The Galileo Financial Assistance Program

Galileo Learning is committed to making summer camp available to all children. The Galileo Financial Assistance Program awards financial assistance to families interested in attending Camp Galileo (pre-K - rising 5th graders), Galileo Summer Quest (rising 5th - 8th graders), The Tech Summer Camps (rising 4th - 8th graders) and Chabot Space & Science Camp (rising 3rd - 7th graders).

In addition to our financial assistance awards, we annually award one "Wink and a Smile" Memorial Scholarship in memory of one of our Camp Galileo Woodside Campers, Kenny Stratz.

Application Process

APPLY ONLINE NOW

  • Please complete one application per child. 
  • April 6th, 2012: Applications must be submitted online or received by mail or fax*.
  • May 4, 2012: Decision letters will be mailed to you.
  • May 25, 2012: Financial assistance recipients must call to enroll.
  • Financial assistance may not be applied to camp sessions that have already been purchased. All paid sessions are considered final and are subject to our cancellation policy.

All financial assistance recipients are awarded one session of camp and extended care, if needed. We do our best to accommodate location, session and class preferences, but cannot guarantee your first choice location, session dates, major, or class as there are a limited number of financial assistance spots available during the camp season.
