MEET OUR OAKLAND SUMMER CAMP TEAM

Lelia Diltz, Camp Director

Lelia is jumping for joy at the thought of her sixth summer with Galileo and her fourth year as the Oakland Camp Director. In addition to running an after school mentorship program, tutoring and advocating for arts education, Lelia can be found singing camp songs (Rattling Bog is one of her favorites), playing Capture the Chicken and yes, asking for more school dress up days, all year round. She finds daily inspiration from her two children to sing like no one is listening and dance like no one is watching, and hopes to spread that cheer at camp this summer.

Hello, Oakland Campers! Cherry, the magical rubber chicken, and I can't wait to see you this summer! We are looking forward to seeing the beautiful rainbow of colors during the team cheer off and spirit award weekly celebration and all of the fun we will have on Water Ball day!
