Camp Galileo Staff

At Camp Galileo, we make sure that every camper gets the personal attention they need from experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic staff. Campers spend every day with a consistent staff team comprised of one Team Leader and three Lead Instructors, who get to know the passions, concerns and quirks of every camper.

Every Galileo summer staff member goes through a rigorous, four-round hiring process—so rigorous that less than 10% of applicants are invited to join our exceptional team. Our Camp Directors and Lead Instructors are always college graduates. Our Team Leaders, who lead our camper teams at Camp Galileo, are outstanding college students. Many of our staff members are educators during the school year; all have leadership experience and, most importantly, love working with kids. We then extensively train this group before, during and after the summer by helping them set professional goals, observing their classes, providing on-going feedback and finally offering a constructive review. The best return year after year.
