Grade Groups: Campers are grouped by grade level into teams of 16 that stay together throughout the week. Each team is guided by a Galileo Team Leader. Our grade groups are named after the life cycle of a star, and include:

Nebulas (Pre-K – K)
Stars (Entering 1st–2nd)
Supernovas (Entering 3rd–5th)

As campers advance through our three age groups, they delve deeper into science and art concepts, use more advanced materials and work on more complex team-building challenges.

Weekly Themes: Each week of camp is built around an intriguing storyline and art & science theme. As the week progresses, activities become more sophisticated and build toward a culminating project. View 2010 activities for each theme and age group.

Daily Rotations: Every day, campers rotate with their groups between Art, Science and Outdoor activities, dividing time equally between the three topics. Lead Instructors teach concepts and facilitate hands-on projects related to the week's themes.

All-Camp Fun: Traditional camp activities like opening and closing ceremonies, skits, all-camp games and team-building time round out the program.
