Kids love Galileo camps because they’re really, really fun. But parents tell us what keeps them coming back is the impact our programs have on their campers’ confidence, creativity and outlook on learning, long after the summer ends. Here’s how we do it:

EXCEPTIONAL STAFF

Our process for hiring summer camp staff is rigorous—so rigorous that we hire less than 10% of applicants. We select candidates who are educators or have other leadership experience, invite the most enthusiastic and talented to join our team, then train this excellent group both before and throughout the summer. The result is summer camps staffed with caring, committed people who love working with kids and see Galileo as far more than just a summer job.

THOUGHTFUL CURRICULUM

We take deep pride in the content we teach, which our year-round education team designs every year to be age-appropriate and to evolve and build over multiple weeks and multiple summers. Our curriculum is fun, challenging and original and creates an opportunity for campers to engage in active, hands-on learning many don't experience anywhere else.

INNOVATIVE APPROACH

Every Galileo summer camp helps children develop the skills and confidence to bring their ideas to life through the Galileo Innovation Approach. This approach encourages campers to develop an innovator's mindset, teaches them a process for innovating and helps them acquire the knowledge they need to develop their ideas both at summer camp and beyond.
