SCHEDULE

Camp hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45am–3:15pm, two-week sessions (students bring their own lunch and snack).

Extended Care: 7:45–8:45am, 3:15–5:30pm.

Schedule of Majors and Minors: Same for 5th–6th graders & 7th–8th graders. Grade groups separated into different classrooms..

CAMP DIRECTOR:
Glenn Howe

Glenn is excited to return for his second year as the Founding Camp Director of our Oakland Galileo Summer Quest site. This will be his third summer with Galileo, after starting as a Lead Science Instructor at Camp Galileo in 2008. After earning a degree in Education from Humboldt State University, Glen served as the Co-Director at Humboldt State’s Center for Appropriate Technology, and also directed a leadership training camp for the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, Glenn has been hard at work managing curriculum development for all of Galileo Summer Quest’s Minors. He brings to Galileo a deep love for science and the outdoors, and is eager to help inspire Galileo’s next generation of campers!
