CAMP DIRECTOR:
Emily Ayers
Emily is excited to join the Galileo team for her first year as the San Mateo Camp Director. Emily joins us from Santa Barbara, where she worked as an instructor at Girls Inc., facilitating classes ranging from science to cooking to golf. Emily previously lived in Thailand where she taught English, traveled and trained new teachers. She received her B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and grew up in Eureka, California. In her spare time, you’ll likely find Emily eating (popcorn mostly), dancing, rock climbing, playing dress up or traveling.
